AMERICAN FIGHTER SC a division of Charleston Krav Maga, is the ONLY certified mixed martial arts studio in Charleston and home of Team American Fighter SC, formally the Charleston Combat Team! Charleston Krav Maga is honored to be the only American Fighter MMA & Fitness Center in the Southeast offering the nations' hottest sport for the beginner or the fighter that wants to step into the ring. In the past, MMA was initially practiced almost exclusively by competitive fighters; this is no longer the case. As the sport has become more mainstream and more widely taught it has become accessible to wider range of practitioners of all ages. A typical session of MMA training will consist of a combination of cardio vascular conditioning, Jiu Jitsu, and stand up fighting. Classes continually work at developing the most well rounded fighter and athlete. MMA training will benefit everyone, from the full contact fighter who wishes to compete, to the person who wants to get into shape fast and have a great time doing it.
