In recognition of this, Charleston Krav Maga is offering a hands on rape prevention seminar on April 29th – all we ask is a $25 donation to an amazing organization – Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. – the day of the seminar.   Nationally certified self-defense instructors will be available to answer questions and teach techniques on how to prevent and survive a violent encounter. This is seminar perfect for high school aged, college bound, and anyone looking to become more aware of her surroundings and survive a violent encounter.  According to the U.S. Department of Justice more than 2.5 MILLION WOMEN experience violence annually. Statistics also show that every 90 seconds a woman is raped in America. Join us and learn how to protect yourself.

This seminar is available to all women ages 14 and older and will be held from 11:00 – 12:30 – please wear comfortable gym clothes and bring water.  Participants train barefoot or with indoor-only tennis shoes to help protect the mats.
